RACHAEL LEWIS-KRISKY
Opening Bid, Living Not So Fabulously,
and Money Glow Up
Podcasts From Yahoo Finance
In just 6 months at Yahoo Finance, I developed, created, and produced three shows: Opening Bid, Living Not So Fabulously, and Money Glow Up. These shows span themes of market and business news, personal finance education, and niche LGBTQ+ money stories.
These shows are produced as vodcasts, as modern podcasting demands content engagement across a range of mediums, from audio on podcast platforms, to full-length video episodes, to social media clips shared widely. Promotion across platforms is achieved through collaborative effort of many teams as I flag the best parts of an episode.

On podcast listening platforms, Opening Bid brings in 500 downloads within the first seven days of airing (a standard measurement of podcast success), several thousand views on Youtube, and six-figure views on our O&O platform. The show has been the most successful at Yahoo Finance.

Listen to a few of my favorite episodes from these three shows and watch the vodcasts episodes below.

Produced for Yahoo Finance — 2024.
