MY

STORY

You can call me Rae (she, her(s), they). As a multimedia producer, I’ve spent my career exploring how different mediums impact storytelling and how combinations can transcend boundaries.

Having just started at Bloomberg as a Podcast Producer for 'Big Take,' I focus on telling character-driven stories with news and market angles. Previously as a Podcast Producer at Yahoo Finance, I specialized in helping my hosts bring their insights to listeners through artful production. I produced and launched three vodcasts: 'Living Not So Fabulously' (LGBTQ+ finance), 'Money Glow Up' (finance psychology), and 'Opening Bid' (market news). Before that, as Sr. Multimedia Producer at DigitalOcean I launched and hosted their podcast 'Making Work Work,' which explored the nuances of building and innovating SMBs in technology spaces. Additionally for DigitalOcean, I produced award winning content documentaries to tell stories of how people in tech can make a difference.

Though my contributions in journalism and marketing have been valuable, I'm also extremely proud of my achievement at Digital Ocean, serving as the co-lead and founder of the company's first LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG), the Rainbow DOlphins, which advocates for LGBTQ+ employees. At my previous company 2U, I also founded and served as the local chair for their ERG, 2Q: 2U's Queer Business Resource Group.

In the little free time I have, I make wood burn art, travel everywhere, read anything, and enjoy time with my cats (no shame).
